Your Manta Aircraft S.A. EAB Aircraft is built and registered using the "plans and miscellaneous parts category" not the 51% FAA approved kit category. The advantage to this is its "scratch built"  and the owner builds far more then the 51% making DAR approval a breeze.

103 WINGS AND TRIKES
There isn't a 103 Trike and Wing combination produced in the World today that comes close to the performance of the Manta RST 103 Wing and BB Nanolight (no fairing) or BB Sport (full faring) Trike. If your fooled into buying our competitions 103 machines you'll be so sorry the first time you met up with a Manta RST Pilot....The Manta 103's reduced span technology (RST) allows it to fly through out the day when thermals and wind make flying a powered hang glider type 103 uncomfortable. You'll get more airtime for your investment and feel safer doing it!
 
The Manta RST 103 Wing comes in three sizes M12.5, M15.5 and M17 to fit your style of flying....Want to go fast? The Manta RST 103 12.5 Wing is your personal rocket-ship....Want speed but slower take offs and landings? The Manta RST 103 15.5 Wing has a little more cushion....Want to just putt around but have RST handling? Float with an Manta RST 103 17 Wing. Remember all Manta Wings are topless with folding struts making set up and transport so easy!
 
Our BB 103 Trikes are "Light" and "Tough", unlike our competitions who's 103 Trikes are just down right "light weights"....If you want to "hang out in the breeze" then the BB 103 Nanolight is your choice...If you want a true XC 103 Trike then the BB 103 Sport Trike with its full fairing will make the miles go by quicker. Both Trikes are powered by the reliable and well serviced Rotax 447. Other engine options are available.

Three years ago the Manta RST Wing revolutionized the Trike World with its superior performance and handling.The average pilot could now fly all day long comfortably in various wind and thermal conditions and enjoy doing it! All models of the Manta also have a new style floating crossbar attachment point that improves its legendary handling
